VISAS & INSURANCE

Would you like to study abroad and find the right school for you? Your Education Shape guides you through the process and supports your access to all study programmes offered by our partner institutions in England, Austria, Canada, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, Portugal, Spain, and the USA.

Beyond the admission support, we also provide clear information about student visas and travel medical insurance, ensuring that the process is as straightforward as possible.

STUDENT VISA

If you require a student visa for your chosen country, make sure your passport is valid and that you meet all the requirements. Pay close attention to the details, as each country has its own rules and processing times. Requirements may also vary depending on your age, the programme of study, and the country of application.

Partner schools and summer camp organisers working with Your Education Shape will issue the documents required to begin the visa application process. These represent only part of the paperwork needed; the remaining documents and fees are your responsibility, together with your family.

Important: Not all institutions abroad can issue the necessary documents for a visa application. Before accepting an offer, confirm that the institution is authorised to provide these. Your Education Shape collaborates exclusively with schools that can issue the documents required for obtaining a student visa.

THE VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

It is essential to understand and meet the immigration requirements of your chosen country. Make sure you:

  • Apply for and obtain the visa type appropriate to your study programme.
  • Respect the immigration laws of the country for the duration of your studies.
  • Check the validity of your visa and other official documents.

The process and documents required may vary depending on:

  • Your programme of study and the type of visa needed.
  • Your nationality.
  • Your country of origin.
  • The embassy of your chosen country.

Always contact the relevant embassy for full information on the process, visa types, required documents, associated fees, and processing times.

PROCESSING TIME

It is your responsibility to obtain your visa on time. Processing times may be longer during the summer months, so it is recommended to begin the process early. Depending on your destination and programme of study, you may start applying 3–6 months before the start of your studies.

TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE

Regardless of your immigration status, travel medical insurance is essential. Healthcare services can be expensive, and insurance protects you from unnecessary stress in case of illness.

Make sure your policy meets both your personal needs and the requirements of the institution where you will study. If your study programme already includes insurance, request details about its coverage to check whether you need additional options. A personalised policy is highly recommended.

In some cases, the visa application process may also require proof of medical insurance. Always check the visa requirements before purchasing an insurance policy. away, wherever you are.
